Safeguarding Trainer and Consultant

Kerry's passion for making a difference led to her career working directly with children and families as an Education Welfare Officer. Working with some of the most vulnerable children, Kerry formed part of a multi-agency team for looked after children and teenage parents before heading up a local authority inner city attendance service. In that role, Kerry was the Education representative at the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) sub group for the quality assurance of recommendations of serious case reviews and at the city wide Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) for high levels of domestic abuse.
A CEOP Ambassador and trained trainer with the NSPCC and The Safer Recruitment Consortium, Kerry is an experienced safeguarding trainer and has delivered multi-agency safeguarding training on behalf of Local Safeguarding Children Boards. Working for an education company, Kerry was the senior lead for safeguarding within the organisation and continued to provide safeguarding training and consultancy across the North West.
Kerry is also a volunteer with the NSPCC.

Cancellations by the Delegate / Refunds

More than one calendar month                      

Delegates may transfer free of charge to any other equivalent price or cheaper course. Cancellations will be fully refunded.


One calendar month - Two weeks                 

Delegates may transfer free of charge to any other equivalent price or cheaper course. 50% of the course fee will be chargeable for cancellations.


Less than two weeks                                     

Delegates may transfer to any other equivalent price or cheaper course, £35+VAT transfer fee will apply. 100% of the course fee will be chargeable for cancellations. 

Substitution of a delegate may be made at any time.
